SSOEL-Japan Launches Web Site

The Society for the Study of the Origin and Evolution of Life-Japan (SSOEL-Japan) was established in 1975. This society has a membership of 270 in 2001, consisting of scientists who are interested in origin and evolution of life on the basis of geoscience, cosmosceince, chemistry, physics and biology.
The primary purposes of the SSOEL-Japan are to publish research reports of its members and to provide its members with facilities relating to origin and evolution of life. The society has published "Viva Origino" (ISSN-0910-4003) which has gained a reputation for its high standard and wide scope, which includes aspects of origin and evolution of life. The journal includes normal length research papers, notes, preliminary communications, reviews and notices of meetings concerned with origin and evolution of life.q_Viva Origino has just started as a web journal for rapid publication and for easy submission of paper from all over the world.
